About the Event

Wendy Berry from Lasting Legacy Farm in Barrington,

NH   started her journey 9 years ago using Rat Terriers to ratificate her

farm from vermin. Blitz was her first pup that she taught basic training

commands and rules of a farm while directing Blitz’s natural instinct to

go after the prey. Wendy increased the size of her pack of Ratties so they

could all work together to be more effective in the ratification process.

She let her dogs guide her to their language to effectively communicate to

one another. Once her farm became under control she found an outlet for

her dogs’ drive by taking them to other peoples farms to hunt vermin.

Working by donations makes it affordable to the farmers she helps.   The

method works in many ecosystems for a holistic approach to solve vermin

problems. Wendy will talk about rodent control and then do a

demonstration with her dogs.

The workshop is free but registration is

required because the workshop will be postponed if the weather isn't

suitable for hunting rats.   To register or for more information, contact
